INFORMATION EVENING – GÀIDHLIG RATIONALE/ISLAY TRIP 2020/CANADA TRIP 2021

Parents and pupils are invited to join us on Tuesday 3rd September at 6pm for the launch of Dunoon Grammar School’s new Gàidhlig rationale. You will be able to view the document and ask questions as well as find out about our plans for the 2019 – 2020 session.

In addition to this input, Ms Howitt will also give a presentation about the upcoming Gàidhlig residential trips to Islay in June 2020 and Canada in April 2021.

The Islay 2020 trip will take place Tuesday 16th June – Saturday 20th June 2020. This trip is open to Gàidhlig pupils currently in P7, S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5. The Canada Trip (Nova Scotia) will take place in April 2021. This trip is open to Gàidhlig pupils currently in S3, S4 and S5.

The information evening will take place in Dunoon Grammar School conference room and the approximate timeline is as follows:

05:50pm – 6:00pm: Arrival

06:00pm – 6:15pm: DGS Gàidhlig Rationale Input

06:15pm – 6:35pm: Islay Trip 2020 (P7 – S5)

06:35pm – 7:00pm: Canada Trip 2021 (S3 – S5)
